Much of the wood fiber used to make this exclusive Fibrex® material is reclaimed from Andersen Corporation’s wood window manufacturing facilities. This eliminates the majority of waste and allows for a far more sustainable product.
The product itself is a composition of wood grain and thermoplastic polymer. This combination makes for an extremely efficient material, one that blocks thermal transfer 700 times better than aluminum. This helps your heating and cooling systems work only as directed and limits the amount of energy needs to keep your home at a comfortable temperature.
